Ibrahim Sani
Stones Brethren –
I am thrilled to invite you to hear our next high quality
speaker – Ibrahim Sani, Associate Director of Samaritan's Feet
International. Ibrahim will speak at my house (2700
Rothwood Dr.) on Tuesday evening April 10 at 7:00 pm.
If you thought Ken Barun’s story was amazing (and it is) –
Ibrahim’s tale will blow your mind! Ibrahim is Arabic for Abraham.
The first son of a highly respected Imam, Ibrahim Sani was raised by his strict
Muslim family to persecute Christians. It was on his way to burn down a
church near his Nigerian village that Jesus Christ overwhelmed his heart.
For most of us, such a thunderstruck conversion would be a as sweet a blessing
as we could imagine. For Ibrahim – it was a death sentence. He went
from the persecutor to the persecuted and was nearly killed at the hands of his
own father for not renouncing his new-found Savior. With help, he was
able to flee Nigeria and he now travels the globe preaching the message of hope
and reconciliation through Christ. He has not seen his parents or his 16
brothers and sisters in more than 11 years.
How many of us would look death in the eye and remain
steadfast in our Faith? How many of us would leave our families behind,
never to see them again, to remain true to Christ? How many of us are
willing to speak out to all who will listen about the glory of God?
Bring a friend and come hear this shocking and inspiring
saga of courage and faith, forgiveness and redemption.
